I knew it was a “fable”, but using my Bible, I did check on the major Biblical references and they were accurate. I have always been fascinated with Biblical history and this book touch all the right aspects of that early history. The fictional characters that the writer included were very believable and touched your emotions of either love or disgust. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 16, 2021 )

The story held my attention well, and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys fiction based on the Bible. It covers a very broad scope of the old testament in an interesting and thought-provoking way. While filling in the spaces of everyday life with carefully researched fiction, he has carried on the historical and spiritual truth of biblical history. Not much exists about this time in history and the author has used his imagination to fill in some of the blanks. Like others have commented, I used my Precepts Bible chart “Overlapping of the Patriarchs” continually…although living 600 years pretty much blows my mind!
