His reports are vivid and succinct. As a longtime reader, I was prepared for repeated themes and motives. And as a retired teacher and social worker trying to understand and ameliorate the circumstances that create violent teens, I thought I had seen it all, but none of my students or clients ever killed anyone. The most shocking history I read in this volume is the first one. Nathan Brooks is a secretly self-avowed Satanist whose 16-member “kill list” started with his younger brother and his parents. However warped young Brooks’ psyche and his interpretation of Satanism, it does not follow the Tenets of the Satanic Temple. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 12, 2021 )
